Postnatal Yoga – Bringing Mums and Babies to the Mat !

As part of the @perinatalmhpartnership UK Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, we are absolutely delighted that the wonderful @yomamas.club are delivering this yoga session for mums and babies.

Laura, founder of Yo Mamas in Surrey , is using yoga to support women from pregnancy and into their motherhood journey and beyond. All wrapped up in a supportive community, a true sisterhood.

Laura is a pre and postnatal yoga teacher, as well as a paediatric nurse. She is also a mother herself to three wild, delightful children! So she has been there Mamas. She knows the struggles, the juggles and the tears, along with the joy.

We and Laura hope you will enjoy this gentle introduction to yoga following the birth of your baby. This could well be your first bit of exercise since you have become a mama, so take it easy. Listen to your body. It’s a very gentle practice, suitable from 6weeks postpartum onwards.

Motherhood is hard. It can be very lonely, and often you can feel disconnected from your body. Use this as an opportunity to reconnect. Movement is medicine.

Enjoy.https://fb.watch/cRXUhptQfF/
